A note from the founder

I'm Harsh — an engineer by training, French by education, Indian by upbringing. Radiance exists because those two halves rarely agreed on what clinic software should look like, and I got tired of choosing between them.

My path here started at Monext, a fintech company in Aix-en-Provence, where I landed an alternance in my second year of a bachelor's — one of five students out of a hundred and twenty in my class to get one that year, and the first international student in my IUT's history to land a second-year alternance at all. Working inside a company that moves real money taught me, early and permanently, how seriously data has to be handled when a mistake isn't hypothetical.

Aix-Marseille Université's engineering program is applied and unforgiving — you learn to build fast and build well because the coursework doesn't leave room for anything else. That pace became a habit, and it's the pace Radiance is still built at.

“Aix-en-Provence is not a grey city, and I didn't want to build grey software.”

Most clinic software defaults to the same clinical blue, as if warmth and rigor were opposites. Radiance's products carry their own colour and character because I don't think a system has to look sterile to be taken seriously.

That's also why there are no ads anywhere in the product or on this site, no forced upgrades, and no pro features sitting greyed-out to tempt you — if you're on the free tier, that's the whole product, not a preview of one. Sign-up is self-serve because I'd rather you try Lumière or Loupe on your own terms than sit through a sales call to find out if it's any good.
